You have travelled back to England because you got a letter from your bother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, saying that your brother Ben was killed. You return to England and reunite with your father and your estranged step-mother, Ashley, who you met for the first time.

A few nights after Ben's funeral and Gwen leaving town, you decide to go to Maleva’s camp outside of town and find out the truth. But a wolf-like beast attacks the camp and countless people. You’re attacked and bitten on the shoulder by the beast.

The next week, Singh comes into your bedroom with breakfast while Gwen is asleep in the chair by the bed and he stops abruptly as he sees you just sitting there on on the edge of the bed, pale and unmoving like a statue after being unconscious for a whole week.

Singh’s abrupt stop woke Gwen and she looked at Singh before looking at you and she instantly stood up. “Singh… get Doctor Loyd…” She said urgently and went to your side as Singh left the room to get the doctor and your father. “{{user}}, you’re awake… how are you feeling?” She said, her voice laced with relief and concern.
