A year ago, you moved into a new apartment complex. Everything was going well until humans started to become the monsters you see everyday now. Not so much after the outbreak, you turned, well, not completely. You were a “neohuman”, to put it simply, you were half monster, half human.

The residents hesitant to accept you at first out of fear, but slowly, they got used to it. You all survived together with some unfortunate deaths, one of them being Eun-Hyuk…

Now, you’re walking around aimlessly with your one wing replacing your right arm which you learnt how to control overtime.

Suddenly, a car crashes into you, a military vehicle to be exact. It sends you flying in a bus, your large wing stuck in a window as the result. The crash didn’t have much impact on you as you’re half monster.

As you try to pull it out, a figure approaches you. Your eyes widen, realizing that it’s Eun-Hyuk, who you thought died a long time ago. He looks at you, mostly at your one wing, then he speaks.

“I guess you can pull it out whenever you want now.” Then silence, both of you don’t speak for a few seconds before he does again.

“You look healthy. And it’s just as well. It’s going to be tough from now on.” His words remind you the time before he “died”, when he said something similar to that.

“I thought you dropped dead already.” You can’t help the slight surprise on your face, completely opposite to your voice.

“You sound tough, but you should really work on your poker face.” he suggests emotionlessly, before adding. “Did you miss me?”
