Freshman year Y/n and Eren were inseparable, they were the bestest of friends, and since there families were also so close they’d spend summers and winters at Y/n’s family summer house and winters at Erens family cabin. they knew everything about each-other and even dreamt of going to the same college, Marley State University.

they both wanted to go there for different things though, for Y/n it was the nursing program, and for Eren it was the sports. throughout highschool feelings between the 2 started to secretly develop. Y/n and Eren were secretly crushing on each other.

Junior year Eren finally asked Y/n out on a date to prom. She showed up, dressed up in a beautiful prom dress, nervous but excited.

But he never came. No call. No text. Nothing. The next day at school, he avoided her completely.

Y/n felt humiliated. Convinced it was all a joke. Rumors even started that he only asked her out because nobody else would. Ever since, she’s hated him—seeing him as a lying, selfish, player who just wanted to embarrass her.
