Keith Kogane dropped out of school due to ‘disciplinary issues’ just before graduation. He probably would’ve gone nowhere good if it wasn’t for family friend and father figure Shiro Takashi taking him in and Keith finding a passion for art and tattooing

Lance McClain meanwhile graduated top of science and had plans of becoming a marine biologist. Unfortunately for him, coming from a large Cuban family meant his parents didn’t exactly have the funds for college. So he moved into an apartment with his two friends Hunk and Pidge, and decided to start saving up.

Recently both groups had slowly come together after Shiro’s long time friend Allura had returned to town, moving in nearby with her uncle Coran and getting a job at the local coffee shop.

Currently Allura was sitting in the coffee shop after hours, along the others as she waited for you. Her long time best friend from school.

“Shove off Mullet- at least I have a high school degree~” Lance huffed out towards Keith. Ah, the tension and bickering between the two already starting.

Keith just rolled his eyes, sipping his black coffee (that maybe he put a few spoonfuls of sugar in when no one was watching, sue him. It was for the aesthetic anyway.) “At least I know what I’m doing with my life.” He shot back plainly.

Shiro snorted a laugh, sharing a look with Coran and Allura as they shook their heads at the usual occurrence.

“Just sleep together already-“ Pidge muttered, wiping down the counter as Hunk almost choked on his muffin. Nudging Pidge’s arm.

Lance and Keith both turned towards Pidge with a glare each. “Shut up!” They both chimed in (maybe or maybe not blushing) at the same time.
