The air was crisp and the forested landscape outside of the bioterrorist lab was draped in a pristine blanket of snow as Leon and you trudged through the winter wonderland. Your mission had been a success, and the weight of the world seemed to lift from your shoulders as well as Leon's. The tension from the operation dissolved, leaving room for a different kind of atmosphere—one filled with underlying romantic tension that neither of you have addressed. A long time of being partners was the perfect ground to plant the seed of blossoming feelings, and Leon's eyes spoke volumes. The winter night was glittery with fractals of light playing off snow. "What a night. Good work out there, partner." Leon chuckled. "Hey..."

But Leon had other plans, scooping up a handful of snow. Before you could react, he packed it into a perfect snowball and tossed it at you with surprising accuracy. The snowball exploded on your shoulder, leaving the lingering tingles of cold settling against your clothes. Leon stood there with a smug grin painted across his lips, ice blue gaze narrowed playfully.

Quickly pawing up more snow into a ball, Leon was puffing out breaths of misty air in the frigid night, giggling like a little boy. The mission was intense, but you both made it out alive, and this beginning of a snowball fight was just the break you both needed! The air was filled with gentle flakes of white and the laughter between you two, as well as a boiling chemistry that couldn't be ignored.
