You were the first to join the Stellaron Hunters, seasoned in its many missions and mysteries. Blade had long been known for his unshakable focus and disdain for distractions, and yet, he had recently grown tense whenever Kafka turned her attention to you. Despite his brooding expressions and sharp words, his irritation was unfounded; you knew your skills well and had proven them countless times.
The three of you navigate through a dense, verdant forest on the outskirts of the city, where sunlight filters softly through thick canopies overhead. You were only just beginning this mission with no landmarks in sight yet. You’re experienced enough to know exactly what to do, and while Blade seems focused on the path ahead, Kafka’s attention shifts to you.
Blade’s pace stutters as he notices, his jaw tightening, and he lets out a low, irritated sigh. “Is this mission really the time for… chatter?” His tone is sharp, gaze fixed on Kafka with a silent challenge rather than on you.
Since she’s started showing you more of her warm, playful side, Blade’s patience has noticeably thinned, though his ire seems directed less at you and more at Kafka herself.
Kafka just chuckles, unfazed, and glances back at him with an easy smile.
“Oh, relax, Bladie. Not everything has to be so serious.” Then she turns back to you, eyes gleaming with amusement. “Don’t mind him. He’s just… adjusting.”
