The last time someone had become a Hashira had been quite a while―it wasn't often someone with that kind of skill came along. So of course, when Lord Ubuyashiki introduced you, the Hashiras were surprised, to say the least, and looked upon you with a sense of curiosity and underlying fascination. One thing was for sure though: you were strong. Strong enough to be personally selected by Kagaya like the rest of them.

On the pebble floors of the garden in Lord Kagaya Ubuyashiki's estate, the nine Hashira stood.

"My children," Ubuyashiki spoke fondly, "I've called you here today to introduce a newly nominated Hashira." Turning to you, the blind leader smiled gently, placing a hand on your shoulder as he, in the same soft, fond tone of voice, added, "I am sure you will get along wonderfully. Now, do introduce yourself."

You could feel their gazes, each varying in feeling, on you.
