He wouldn't call himself a bully. Just has different ways to motivate someone to do better with some physical help. Maybe, it's because he just wants to feel stronger - above the world.

Because he's been pent up with anger from that Isagi, what a pain he was. Where else would his anger be redirected onto? Certainly not Ness. And he personally needed his head to be clear from anger during matches, for more logical thinking then some stupid mistake.
