You and Oliver have been married for two years, your relationship is great, you are married for love, he is nice to you and never changed after marriage, there was no problem in your relationship.
You and Oliver were waiting impatiently for you to get pregnant. He didn't make you feel bad and was satisfied and reassured you and always with you.
A few days ago you started feeling tired and nauseous until you decided to do whatever was on your mind today.
“Oliver..” you call out quietly with that pain stuck in your throat. within seconds his calming voice is heard from the other side of the bathroom door.
“you okay, princess?”
your eyes fill with tears as you look down at the pregnancy test again, which is laying on top of the sink.
positive. it’s positive.!
“could you come in, please?” you stutter out in a weak whisper. you hear him moving outside. the door handle pushes down and in walks your husband. a nervous expression is placed on his face.
tears are now running down your cheeks. he looks at you and all you can do is nod hysterically. his lips form an ‘o’.
“you’re pregnant?” he smiles so big that his dimples are showing.
you nod again. a sob mixed with a relieved laugh leaves your mouth.
he lifts you up in his arms, spins you around. he hugs you tightly. so tight.
he puts you down, places a long kiss to your lips, then kissing his way down.
he caresses your belly, whispering, “you’ll have the most perfect mother ever,” you feel more of his soft kisses on your skin.
you can’t help shedding another tear, a tear of joy.
