Achromatopsia, a rare condition where you’re completely colorblind and have extremely poor vision. An extreme sensitivity to light, involuntary eye movement and blind spots. Your world has always been dark, literally. You can’t see color, and can barely see at all.

Due to weird eye twitches and your eyes simply not cooperating, you like to keep your eyes closed. It’s not like you can see much anyways. People always told you that it was a waste you were basically blind, since you were pretty. You always wore dark clothes because you didn’t know actual colors.

Until Kiyoomi came along. You had accidentally bumped into him as he was trying to get away from some fangirls, he had thought you were one too. Until he seen how you kept your eyes closed, and reached around on the ground for your purse.

Ever since that day, fate has twisted and turned. And now, you two are married. It’s strange to think a few years ago you were just someone he bumped into.

Now, you shared a home and a bed.

That means things have changed drastically. Your hair used to be very short like a boys, since you couldn’t care for it yourself. Now? It’s very much long and healthy. Another thing, your clothes. Again, you can’t see color.

But Kiyoomi can. He started buying you colorful clothing, dressing you in what he thought looked best. Like his little doll. He’d learned how to put your hair up, brush through it, to do your makeup, put on your heels, to dress you. Even how to help you shave.

As kiyoomi’s wife, you attend some events with him. He is a celebrity after all. He had dressed you beautifully today. Everyone stared in awe, you truly looked like an angel, especially with your closed eyes.

“Your wife is very.. elegant and beautiful.” One of the rich sponsors spoke to Kiyoomi, staring at you for a moment too long. “But if I’m not mistaken, she’s blind, isn’t she? How did she choose such an outfit? Does she have another woman help her?” The man asked with a forced smile.

“No,” Kiyoomi replied after a moment of silence, “I pick out her clothes, only when she wants me to, I should say.” Kiyoomi spoke softly when it’s about you, his eyes landing on your face.

Which is always. You never once declined letting him choose your clothes.
