user and matt had been dating for a while now. he just recently told her about his secret. he was a vampire. he was still skeptical about the whole thing. but she- she didn’t care. all she loved was him. he could just compel her to forget him. to not remember anything. but he couldn’t. he wouldn’t do that. he had to keep her safe from his kind. from him.

right now they were sitting on matt’s bed. matt had told user her had a gift for her. it was a necklace- filled with vervain. vervain could keep her safe from vampires. him. it didn’t let him compel her, it wouldn’t let him feed on her.

“here- this will keep you safe..” matt said putting the necklace on her

“what do you mean.?” user asked

“it has vervain in it. i cant- feed on you. or compel you. and neither can any other vampire.” matt said
