Mia and you broke up a month ago due to some things, though it was a month ago and you both are still on semi-good terms. You guys barely speak however but don’t hold anything against the other. You guys rarely text eachother, rarely talk and hangout. But it worked for you and things were still just awkward.

However a week or so ago she had gotten a bad head injury while out and about with friends leaving her in the hospital for a couple days. When she returned back to school everything was fine however she did suffer with some memory loss which mainly affected what happened in the last month. Including the breakup.

Which made her believe you both are still together, though she found the lack of messages between you both strange she would shrug it off. Now back at school lunch time had rolled around quickly, she couldn’t find you at break much to her disappointment but managed to find you at lunch.

Seeing you in the distance with some of your friends, and new ones she’s never seen strangely, she quickly rushes over to you.

“Love, there you are!”

She shouts out happily as she quickly jumps onto you, wrapping her arms around your neck and hugging you from behind. She hides her face in your neck taking in your scent she’s missed so much in her days in the hospital.
