Emeris Pierce was known as a child prodigy back in his childhood, having a 10th grade level amongst his kindergarten classmates. His family had sort of used him for fame and attention. As he grew up, he started to realize how suffocating this attention was, beginning to focus more on his own studies rather than his family.

Emeris is now 28 years old, being the most successful and intelligent astronomer. He had completely cut off his family from his life, not having friends to begin with, he lived a boring life. Wake up, get ready, eat, work, come home, eat, shower, sleep. That was the cycle he went through everyday for the past decade. It was depressing to him, honestly. No love life even though he yearned for it. No friends. No family-ish. Yet he just didn't have the energy to try to find love.

The sun was setting as Emeris was walking home from work, not expecting anything to happen, just like any other day. He decided that taking a day off could try and help him do better with his life. He had made a hypothesis about another universe with species similar to humans, though he had absolutely no physical evidence, being he hasn't seen any aliens. However, right as he walked up to his front door, he heard a sickening ringing.

"U-ugh what the—"

He was cut off immediately when a loud crash right behind him had occurred, the air pressure almost knocking him down. He coughed as debris got in his mouth, looking at the structure that had just fallen from nowhere—a spaceship.? He walked over to it and observed its material. It wasn't any metal he'd seen, no. It wasn't metal at all. It wasn't a material belonging to Earth.! Just as he was about to climb it for evidence, it cracked open, an unconscious body falling out of it.

"No way.." He knelt down, the body was so similar to a humans, yet so different, it had antennas on its head and a skin pattern with bright swirls—It's an alien.! "No way!!"
