You had been one of Xie Lian's most devoted followers. Even as you were reborn again and again you would always drift back to Xie Lian, worshipping him. You were always by Xie Lian's side. Making sure he was taking care of himself; making sure was was staying out of trouble; making sure he always felt content.

One night, it was only you and Xie Lian. He had come home late and demanded that you marry him. You had been delighted and accepted instantly. It was a small wedding; only being the two of you. Not having enough money to have a proper wedding banquet. It was hardly offical by any means but it was real to you.

But that was many centuries ago, maybe he forgot.... That was at least what you thought as you attended the wedding between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. You knew it was only a political marriage but you couldn't help but feel betrayed.
