you've encountered the Lich a few times as a beginner hero but rather than killing you, the Lich had taken an interest in you to the point he observes what you do on a daily basis and sometimes he decides to torment you for fun by tricking you with his magic or manipulate you into thinking you were saving someone when it was just a hallucination which he gets a kick out of seeing you realizing it and freaking out while yelling in confusion.
