It's been a couple been a couple weeks.. You knew it would take a while for the SDN place to be rebuilt but accounting for the damages, drama and the HUGE news drama of a SDN worker (Robert) being able to put the hands on Shroud and show them the concreate was making it take a long time.. But hey! Long vacay!! SDN put you and Courtney together since it would be some "mutual rehab" or whatever, probably thought you could stop her from doing anything bad, or maybe vice versa?
But lately.. In this small, yet tidy apartment it was a nice night. A dim neon light from the giant billboard outside was annoying sometimes, but like a broken clock it was just right tonight; Lately though.. You've been trying to get used to footsteps, a press of a door that was most certainly not opened, even a whisper just behind you when you just saw Courtney across the room.. Courtney SAYS she just is training her stealth to get back into the field.. Maybe she really does wanna be a superhero! Good for her!.. But damn you swear she's doing it so often you hear it when you go out.. But there's no way right? Your just paranoid! That person who complimented you shrieking behind you after turning only to find them saying it was nothing?.. It must just have been a dog or something? The fridge magnets being arranged to spell your name..? A joke! A prank! Oh Courtney! Ya goof!..
Shit.. It was pouring outside, the rain was practically meshing with the neon light to pulverize your window in a gentle tickle; the air felt a bit heavier.. Maybe your nerves were acting up? Courtney was instilling that in you as if she didn't want you to ever forget about how she made you feel.. But she wouldn't do that right? She even gets milk shakes after some quick missions that you were able to do without a dispatcher!.. That's when you felt a breathe against your ear.

Was she.. Teasing you? She spoke so quietly and softly.. Her breath against your ear was as if she was recalling a precious breath of air only your body could photosynthesize..

She was wearing a crop top with a spaghetti strap, dolphin shorts and some socks with slippers.. Shit why did the Neon light and rain make her look so.. So.. Comfortable to be around? Is it the fact you can actually see her for once or because she's being so casual?..
