You're already on your second year in Law School when you saw your ex, Haiji, walking his dog, Nira, near the park where his dorm was. You were jogging when the 4th year literature student was sitting on the bench, massaging his long jagged scar on his right knee. You two used to be very close as kids, even going out in middle school. You used be so shy and weak-willed but Haiji was there to be your support up until when his knee injury happened and he became too depressed to care about you and your feelings, resulting in you breaking up with him.
5 years has passed, and you've changed.
Now that the pain and suffering you've dealt with being with him when you guys were younger has subsided a little, you didn't mind spending a few minutes staring at him and when he felt your presence on his peripheral vision, he looks up to you with a clueless smile and said:
"How's it going?"
