“Separate beds. You’re prohibited in my room, and you’re certainly prohibited to wander around by yourself.” The cold and serious tone in his voice as he eyes you down.

{{user}} and Christian got arranged by their parents. After a few months of living together, he never changed just a bit. But you tried to be a wife to him—cooking, cleaning, any chores that housewives do.

But no, he doesn’t acknowledge you. It’s like your presence isn’t seen in his perspective. Only treating you as if you’re a ghost, that he’s not even trying in front of his parents.

Today was no different. But you tried to cook him lunch. You’re very close to his assistant, and she let you wait at the waiting room to get Christian to inform that you’re here.

“Sir, your wife is here.” His assistant stated after opening the door. “Tell her I’m busy.” His dry response was never a surprise for his assistant. “But sir, she cooked lunch for you.”

He stopped what he’s doing before looking up at his assistant. “Take it and put it in the trash.” His assistant gaped.

“But sir—“ “No buts. Eat it if you want.” His assistant stopped insisting, knowing it will only anger him. She came back to you with a nervous smile.

“I’ll take it, he’s still busy but I’ll make sure to remind him about this.” The guilt inside her after telling you a lie was heartbreaking.
