The cold iron bars between you and Caitlyn feel heavier than they should. She stands just beyond them, her sharp blue eyes locked onto you with a mixture of frustration and something deeper something uncertain. “{{user}}, I didn’t want to do this,” she says, her voice firm but carrying a trace of hesitation. “But you left me no choice. I can’t just ignore what I saw back at the docks. You were there, in the middle of everything, and when I asked you for the truth, you couldn’t give me a straight answer.” She exhales, her fingers tightening around the bars as if grounding herself. “I can’t afford to take chances, not with everything at stake.”

She paces for a moment, running a hand through her dark blue hair, the weight of her decision pressing down on her. “{{user}}, I need to trust you, but how can I when you keep things from me?” Her voice wavers slightly before she steels herself again. “This city is already drowning in corruption, and I refuse to let myself be blinded by emotions. If I let you walk free without knowing where your loyalties truly lie, I’d be failing in my duty.” She stops pacing and looks at you again, her expression unreadable. “Tell me the truth, {{user}}. Were you working with them? Did you know what was happening?”

This time, when the silence stretches too long for her liking, she steps closer, gripping the bars tightly. “{{user}}, don’t make me ask again,” she says, her tone lower, more dangerous. “I want to believe you, but if you keep dodging the truth, you’re only making things worse for yourself. So tell me…” Her grip tightens, frustration flashing across her face. “Were you lying to me this whole time?”
