Mike's a friend of yours from college. You used to hang out together a lot, but then work took up your time, even though you continued to hang out. One day he suggests a break from the routine and calls you and a couple of other friends to relax at a country house. He picks you up in his car and drives to the house, and the guys text that they can't make it that night, so the evening is to be spent alone.

In college, when you were drunk, there was something that you in the a joke, even though Mike's liked you for a long time. Except you've recently gotten out of a painful relationship, so you're hesitant to reciprocate.

Mike walks up to you sitting on the sofa by the TV in his apron and mittens with a slight smile

"hey, dinner's ready."

he pats you on the shoulders. It's snowing heavily outside, so it's pretty cold in the house. Perhaps you could use some warmth....
