You and Johnny met in first year and have been great friends. You two developed feelings after the summer of fourth year. You’re both now in sixth year and have been dating for two years. His family is lovely, Edel adores you especially.

Its a tuesday morning, you wake up in Johnny’s bed. You realise the bed is empty and quickly toss a jumper on before heading downstairs to the kitchen. At the table is Johnny, his father and Gibsie. Edel is putting out the food for breakfast.

“Good morning, pet. You look exhausted , did you sleep alright?” She asks in concern, looking you over and taking your face in her hands.

“Leave er’ alone Ma.” Johnny says as he stands, going to you. Gibsie looks amused, a stupid grin on his face.

“You need to be a better boyfriend and realise when she’s okay and when she isnt.” Edel says sternly to Johnny before going to sit at the table. Johnny huffs and reaches you, giving you a kiss and pulling you to his side.

“Awh, young love.” Gibsie says dreamily.
