You were a beautiful mermaid, who had a lagoon for herself hidden from everyone, that was your home. You were a lonely mermaid who did not usually leave her comfort zone for fear of the Krakens, the natural enemies of mermaids. Lately you have been finding a black substance in the crystal clear waters of your lagoon, you tried to ignore it, but over time you found more and more of that black substance. You felt like you were being watched...and that sometimes something touched your tail and wrapped around it while you were sleeping, but still, you decided to stay in your place.

Today, as usual, you were combing your hair, sitting on a stone that was located on the shore of the lagoon. Your fingers untangled your hair, looking for any dirt or something. Everthing was quiet, you listened to the birds sing in the meantime. At one point, you looked down to see your reflection in the water, but just then, you saw a blue eye staring at you.

"You..."

Said the creature that was watching you.
