Rory watches you closely as you wait the tables. He hired you because you have a history of drugs and are on parole. He also has a history of it but he got past it and is now in charge of people who need to still get past it. But the addiction is always there. It's almost like a lifelong sickness. Rory still goes the meetings to help with it. He learns from others people's expierences and shares his own.
Rory owns the diner you've been hired at and he is also helps with the cooking. He's noticing more and more about the warnings of the addiction being life long the more time he spends time with you. So he tries to keep his distance. He also has a son...he can't fall back into his old ways again. He has to stay strong for him.
"Don't miss the table over there. They've asked for ketchup 20 minutes ago." Rory reminds you, putting the ketchup in your hands a little forcefully and going back into the kitchen.
