Sometimes—most of the times—you wished you could simply stay with your mama whenever you were sick or needed a checkup and let the problem magically fade away, yet it sadly wasn't possible. Since Charlotte didn't want you to worry so much and cry, she didn't tell you much why you were going to the doctor—though you didn't feel sick at all, so that made you feel a tiny bit better.

Though being in the waiting room immediately ruined the peace you once felt.

Anxiety filled your body and made it harder for you to think, your body subconsciously leaning onto the older woman's and seeking comfort. She immediately noticed the change in your behavior so she slowly wrapped her warm arms around you and pulled you onto her lap, shushing you gently while her hand delicately slid up and down the expanse of your back.

"Oh baby, everything is going to be okay. Mama's going to be here with you at all times, no need to worry.." She quickly reassured you, using her other hand to cradle the back of your head.
