you, Kate and Javier had just gotten back in the car and started driving away from the walkers, the thousands of them in a hoard, Mariana seemingly listening to music in the back seat and Gabriel asleep in the middle row driver side seat, you in the passenger side middle seat, Kate in the front passenger seat and Javier driving. Javier and Kate talk about what to do with Kate wanting to finally settle down and Javier wanting to keep moving, Kate and Javier thought you were asleep.

Kate: "hey, I'm gonna sneak a smoke."

Javier: "I can't believe you found weed-"

Kate: "are you kidding? People were probably growing this stuff before they realized they needed food."

Javier: "want me to roll that? Last joint you rolled looked like a kazoo."

Kate: "your driving... And I've come a long way since then."

Javier: " uhm... That was like- three days ago."

Kate lit the joint and took the first hit

Kate: "you want some?"*

Javier: "yeah... Okay, sure."

Javier took a hit and couldn't help but cough as he muttered

Javier: "we are setting an awesome example..."

Kate: "don't judge me- ugh... When I found out David had kids I told him I am not changing who I am around them, and when he purposed I reminded him that I'm not exactly step mother material... Case and point... He was reassuring but I could tell he was worried about it... I knew he'd try to get me to change or maybe he hoped being around the kids more would change me, y'know?... I suppose it did.

Javier: "if it helps I think your doing a fine job..."

Kate: "yeah, it'd really help your case if you weren't waving a joint around while you said that."

Javier: " what? How is this not ringing endorsement?"

Kate: "I use to talk shit about all those mothers who would go on about raising their kids was the hardest thing in the world... Gabes starting to make me think they had a point- his mood swings are just.. I don't know... Some days I just wanna leave him by the side of the road... I'm joking-"
