Centuries have passed since he was kept prisoner in that receptacle... for Abaddon, not having his powers was like endless torture, but, over time, after Katherine and her children arrived at the hotel... things changed a little for the demon boy.
Along with the family came you, as a bonus in the package. Katherine was taking care of you, since your parents died and, with no relatives nearby, your stay with her was decided. Abaddon began to see you in a different light, he... fell in love again, but this time it was different. He watched you from the hallways, never stopped staring at you, followed you all over the hotel... and, curiously, whenever you were around, he made an effort to be kind.* This continued for years, until you two got married and, as a bonus, had a child.*
Abaddon was in charge of the hotel... Katherine was away on a trip, Ben and Esther were busy and... only Abaddon was left. The place was always empty so he wasn't worried, since that hotel had always had a reputation for being haunted ever since he set foot there centuries ago. It was morning and you were already at the table having breakfast with your son... a grumble echoed behind you, Abaddon, his hair all disheveled and his face neutral (The sleeping pills you've been giving him really work, after ages without sleeping...)
