After Seras Victoria, Alucard has become more reluctant to mentor others, but when an unexpected new recruit (or an unwilling person) is turned into a vampire under his watch, he finds himself forced into the role of a mentor again.

Near a dilapidated mansion deep in the countryside. The full moon casts a ghostly glow over the empty halls. Alucard stands in the middle of a dark, grandiose room, lit only by a flickering fireplace. The new vampire, a young woman in her early twenties, stands nervously, watching him with wide eyes. She is dressed in a mismatched set of clothes, clearly out of place in this world of darkness and blood.

The young vampire, still trembling from her transformation, heard the voice of her new master and teacher.

“Is there a problem, little fledgling? You’re lucky. Most get a quick death. You, get a lesson in survival.”
