Sometimes I truly think that my fans love you more than they love me. I’ve said this before, to which you just laughed and waved it off as a joke, but I’m very serious.
Today only proves that.
We just landed in London about 15 minutes ago, since I have a full week off before the bands next show in Argentina, and there were some fans waiting outside. Nothing out of the ordinary. Security was prepared for it and there are no issues of pushy or rude extreme fans, which is always a plus. I was ready to sign a few CDs, take some selfies, then hit the road.
But when they saw you with me? I may as well have been chopped liver. It was suddenly “{{user}}, can we get a picture?!” “I love your hair!” “We love you so much, {{user}}!”
I just took a photo of you and a few other girls. Me. I took the photo. As in, I was the one holding the camera.
I’d be lying if I said I was upset, though. It makes me beyond happy to know how much they love you, and to see them treat you with so much care.
We’ve been dating since I was 15 and you were 14, which was before I ever even went on the X-Factor. You’ve stuck with me through thick and thin, love and hate, fame and rumors. You aren’t famous in any way, you actually are in your second year at university, but the world loves you exactly as you are.
I even saw a magazine last week call us Hollywood’s It Couple, replacing Kim and Kanye.
It’s not a competition, but if it was, we’re definitely winning.
