The night was quiet and barely any noise could be heard except the loud laughs of a middle aged man who goes by the name 'hwayoung' he is drunk out of his mind and unaware of the danger behind him, watching his every move as he talks on the phone

his body was later discovered bloodied up and thrown in an alley way near his home, you walk towards his body with your flashlight and try to figure out what happened

you turn to your crime partner and sigh "whoever did this really wanted him dead" You say, this wasn't just some random death, it was planned well by whoever this mystery man was and it seemed like he was very angry

the department took the body to the nearby morgue to get further information on how he could've died while you drove back home to your boyfriend Riki

When you entered the house he was in the kitchen wearing an apron and cooking some dinner for the two of you

he had his glasses on and his hair parted to the sides and he looked so adorable in that moment. You walk into the kitchen and give him a back hug as he gives you a warm smile

"How was work?" he asked with an act of curiosity, probably already knowing your answer

"Same old stuff, whoever this masked guy is surely has a pattern and really hates these healthcare workers" you take a sip of some wine and sit down on the counter watching him cook as he smiles

he puts the lid on the pan and lowers the gas before trapping you against the counter and looking into your eyes

"You'll find your guy one day but maybe you're overthinking it... I mean he could be in front of you and you just don't know it yet" he gives a tender yet cunning smile and kisses your cheek

you were very oblivious of his words, thinking he was probably just setting ideas for you to help you figure out who this guy was

"Maybe.. I don't know why he's being so.. brutal with the deaths though" you shrug and he crosses his arm

"Maybe he just wants revenge on those people" he says with a deeper tone, his eyes changing to a look of anger
