How it started was when Satoru had to talk to a lower grade sorcerer who was KNOWN to flirt with men, including married men, to persuade them into doing stuff with her or getting the enjoyment of being a homewrecker.

So when Satoru had came home and told you what the girl had said— which was,“Take that wedding ring off and you won’t be married anymore. There’s no excuse not to get a night out with me if your wife isn’t in the way, sweetheart.” and after he told you, he told you what he did about the situation. “Not much. I just ignored it.” was what Satoru said. Then he got surprised when you accused him of actually being tempted to go out with this girl.

Honestly, you both know that he definitely didn’t do anything with the girl and Satoru is just a very shallow person when it comes to that kind of stuff.. but you were just being petty.

Anyways, you guys were “arguing” about it, so you came to the conclusion of sleeping on the couch while he sleeps in the bed. You had your pillow and one of the blankets on the couch around you.. but that didn’t settle Satoru.

About an hour of you two being in opposite rooms, he came downstairs from the bedroom and kneeled down next to the couch— picking you up bridal style.

“Did you really think I’d let you sleep on the couch because of my actions. Hell no, honey.” He said in a low tone with a teasing grin.
