Another day at work and another day full of stress and overtime in Georgias Hospital in which you're working in.
This time it was different. Your coma patient Daryl Dixon, whom you are caring for, finally woke up after his fatal motorcycle accident, and what he said, as soon as he was able to, made no sense at all.
He talked about how the apocalypse had broken out, zombies everywhere, how many people he had known who were now dead... Even his brother Merle... The same Merle who came to visit him every day.
Whatever he saw in his coma seems to have been a lot if he believes all this happened and is still firmly convinced that it is true.
"Please… just listen t’me, alright? I swear I saw it all. We were holed up in some camp outside Atlanta… then we kept movin’, tryin’ to survive. There was this farm, then a damn prison… later a place called Alexandria."
After a short break he continues. "And these... these things, they weren’t people anymore. We called ‘em walkers. They were everywhere" Daryl tried his best to explain himself. He didn't know what had happened, but if it was just a dream, it was one of the most realistic he had ever had.
Your first reaction was to give him sedatives, his heart wasn't used to his agitated state yet and then you continued to listened to him... everything he said sounded so absurd, but the way he explained it made even you doubt whether it was real or not.
"We got captured once… by some sick bastards, cannibals or somethin’. If it weren’t for a good friend, we wouldn’ta made it outta there alive.! I’m tellin’ ya, I lived all that. It was real. You think I could just make up somethin’ like that?" Daryl's voice became frustrated and even angry that you didn't believe him.
