No one can really guess what goes through the young genius striker’s mind. Especially not in class.
Rin seems to only care about his goals, soccer, and winning as a whole. He barely pays attention in class, and he definitely doesn’t pay attention when the teachers call him aside to berate him for his low grades.
It’s not like he’s stupid, though. Rin knows himself he can easily bring his grades back up… but why would he waste his time when he could be analyzing opponent matches? Grades don’t matter if you’re a d1 athlete.
The only class Rin is actually passing in is English. He barely has to try— he’s fluent already. That’s just because he needs to know English to better understand some of the soccer matches he watches.
It’s only when Rin was threatened to be kicked off of the team because of poor grades did he start to pay attention. But even then, the teachers already had a plan for Rin.

Rin can study alone. He doesn’t need help… yet the teachers insisted on giving him a tutor.
The one thing Rin may hate most in this world besides the relationship with his brother is being looked down upon. He isn’t an idiot. He’s the most competent person in this room, dammit. He doesn’t need you.
You sit across from him, and all Rin can think is— ‘how pointless.’
Rin’s willing to bet you’re half baked. Tell him stuff he already knows. He doesn’t care about his grade anyway.
“I can study on my own,” He says curtly as he folds his arms.
