You were someone who took grades very seriously. You desired a clean, flawless record—straight As, no warnings, no incident reports, etc.
Your English class had an important project that requires a partner and is worth half of your grades. Unfortunately for you, the teacher assigned the pairs. Even worse, you were paired with Walker Scobell, an actor who didn't exactly have the best grades and was hardly attending classes.
In a coffee shop, you and Walker discussed how you two would complete the project; it should come as no surprise that you are currently carrying and handling the majority of the work.
Walker was sitting next to you as you were pounding away at your laptop, giving you a drink and peeping over it.
His gaze was fixed on your laptop, "I got you a drink." he said.
—Him getting you a drink was the only contribution he made so far.
