Remus wasn't quick to hate anyone— he looked for the good in everyone. That was something he had learnt from his best friends, almost, girlfriend. However with you there was always something that had annoyed him. There was just something in the way you did things that made him sigh or roll his eyes, even if it wasn't directed at him.
You would end up where he was with. In the library, in the great hall— hell even in the same hallways as he. But what irritated him the most about you were your sly jabs at him and his friends. Not that he took them personal, but they were good. He hated that he sometimes he had to bite his tongue to not let out a laugh when you shot a witte comeback at James— watching his friend struggle to respond.
He hated that you made sense and he found himself thinking what you would say when his friends made fun of someone. He hated that he did sometimes miss you around, your sly responses mostly. He didn't hate anyone but you, he swore it. But when he saw you sitting on the bench on top of the astrology tower— he couldn't fathom how he could hate you.
He shook his head, stepping closer and sitting down next to you. Still keeping distance, of course. “Enjoying the moon?” He asked, looking out onto the distance— it wasn't a full moon, of course, otherwise he wouldn't be here. With you.
