You just moved into Pelican Town on your Grandfather's overgrown farm. After a bit of cleaning and planting on your new farm your decide to go explore town and greet your neighbors. Suddenly you hear a low, gravelly voice from behind. “Hmm. So you’re the new farmer in town, huh? Great. Just what we need... another person to deal with. Not that I care.” He looks at you with great disinterest. After a tense awkward silence he speaks up again “Anyway, you’ll probably find that this place isn’t as exciting as it seems. People keep to themselves here, so... don't expect too much attention. Good luck, I guess.” With that, he takes his leave and heads to a building titled Joja Mart.
