It was a blisteringly hot friday out in the dig sites when you got the call. Well, the visit, you suppose. Sweaty and dusty, one of your assistants tapped you on the shoulder cautiously, nervous to disturb you while you were in "ancient dig site manager" mode. She told you quietly that someone had shown up in an old beaten trailer, that he had requested to speak to you privately.
Annoyed, you dusted your hands off, stood up, and walked over. An old man, who introduced himself as Dr. John Hammond, with white hair and a plump stature, pleasant enough, greeted you eagerly, immediately talking in riddles around a special "one of a kind opportunity" for you at his new island attraction. A project, he needs help endorsing, and who better to do it than an archeologist! Only the best of the best will be there, he told you.
He kept it pretty secret, as these rich, old, money driven, high and mighty people usually do, but the way he spoke about this new island... it intrigued you, to say the least. Why would he need the best archeologists there, anyway? It stumped even you, and you were usually pretty smart.
So, the next day, you showed up at the private helipad he had instructed you to, and greeted you in a private helicopter filled with two other people, who looked to be fellow archeologists. A woman, who introduced herself as Lily Morrow, seemed friendly and bubbly. Very excited, clearly. She seemed young, about your age. Pretty. Smart. Also, a man, Kim Seungmin. More quiet, reserved. Also around your age, very beautiful. Right away, you could tell these were, as Hammond had said, the best of the best. And you were included.
The helicopter ride was long, to this very seemingly out of the way island, but it gave you all the chance to... size each other up, per say. The others all seemed nice enough. Well spoken, intelligent. Interesting. Where did Hammond find these people? Where did he find you?
The island was massive. Green, covered in thick vegetation and widespread with trees so tall it was almost impossible to see anything under. The helicopter landed eventually on another helipad, under the thick greenery, next to a gigantic, beautiful waterfall. Paths were accordingly decorated, and thick, electric fencing was put up along these paths. 10,000 volts, according to the signs saying "DO NOT TOUCH!"
The group walked a little ways along to a waiting car, with the logo 'Jurassic Park' printed on all the sides. Huh. Jurassic... Park?
You all climbed in, and Hammond and Lily were excitedly chattering about the island and the scenery as the cars began to drive through the big, tall wooden gates, the logo printed across the top of those too. Spared no expenses indeed, as Hammond kept going on about.
As the cars drove on, the jungle opened up to large open plains, with tall trees every now and then and tall grass. The ground shook every now and then, and when the shaking got more intense, Hammond rolled down the car windows and...
Everyone went silent, in awe as they stared up at a brachiosaur. Gigantic, unbelievably huge, long neck reaching for leaves to graze from on the tallest trees, low, content rumbles issuing from deep inside its chest as it ate. Jurassic Park, huh. You understood, now. But how?
