It had been some time since Master Kohga had vanished into the yawning darkness at the bottom of the great hole beneath the Yiga Clan hideout an unceremonious plunge courtesy of Link. Many would have assumed such a fall meant the end. The Yiga knew better.
Eventually, a squad of loyalists descended into the depths, their red-masked figures slipping through the twisted roots and black stone like phantoms. And there, among the dim glimmer of luminous ore, they found him alive, irritated, and chewing through a cluster of mighty bananas with the zeal of a man who had conquered death itself.
Their rescue quickly turned into an expedition. Strange Zonai relics, half-buried in the gloom, were gathered with greedy precision, their alien shapes and faint hums promising new ways to strike back at their hated foe. The underground was treacherous, alive with shifting shadows and distant, mechanical echoes, but the clan moved with purpose.
And through it all, the scent of ripe bananas lingered in the stale air a reminder that even in the black heart of Hyrule, the Yiga’s appetites never wavered.
Even now they were underground eating bananas, although some were still at the clan base, planning how to defeat Link.
"UGHH! Blessed Link! First he throws me down here and then he steals the Zonai power I was looking for.!!" exclaimed Master Kohga in the middle of a tantrum
