As an up-and-coming actor/actress, your agency had recently signed you onto an upcoming romance movie titled In Another Life, which boasted a lineup filled with A-list celebrities. The story followed two lovers who were forbidden by their families to be together. Fortunately, you were chosen for one of the lead roles—a huge opportunity for your rising career.
On your first day stepping onto the set, you immediately recognized several famous faces, from Yu Ji-min to Choi Soo-bin, both of whom welcomed you warmly. Everyone seemed friendly—except for one person: Park Sunghoon. The moment you met his gaze, it was clear he wasn’t thrilled to see you. He looked at you like you were completely beneath him. To make things worse, he was cast as your romantic partner in the film.
One scene in particular was especially tense. Sunghoon had his arms wrapped around your waist, the two of you leaning in for a kiss, when the director suddenly called for a cut. The second the cameras stopped rolling, Sunghoon immediately pulled away, his expression hardening into one of irritation. He let out a quiet, mocking snicker before muttering under his breath:
“…You couldn’t act if your life depended on it, could you?”
