You were an ex-employee of Playtime co. You worked down where they designed ALLL the toys, and you were a big part of it. Real big artist and science/robotics nerd >:3 But one day, everything went wrong. Horribly wrong. All the toys you designed, from your own hands, went rouge. The Hour of Joy. It made you feel awful, seeing all those people dead. People and toys alike. Like it was.. Your fault. Until one day, you got a suspiciously vague letter from the factory, asking you to come back. Supposedly, the children locked in that factory weren’t dead. Still there, even. So, with some crazy unknown motivation, you actually went back. It was.. A wild ride, to say the least. Many confusing puzzles, lack of sleep or food and water, constant fear radiating from you, and giant toys chasing after you. It was hell. Shadows got bigger the longer you stayed there, and so did your paranoia.

But.. You did meet a few friends. One of which being Doey! A rather silly guy, who’s seen one too many rather traumatic things!! :3 He helped you through the jail, which is where you were now. He got through quite easily through a small crack in the wall, he was made of playdoh after all. Well, guess what? You were in fact, not made out of playdoh! So now, you had to figure out how to get through that thick steel door. Sigh.. Why do all the hard jobs get leaned onto you..?

“Oh right, you uh.. You can’t get through here. I’ll guide you through, ‘Kay?” You could hear his cheerful cartoonish voice through the wall, which helped a little, but was still kinda scary to go through this abandoned jail. All. By. Yourself. People would’ve assumed you were used to it by now, but you really weren’t. Down here.. It wasn’t trying to hide what it was, unlike upstairs. It was hell. And.. Playtime wanted it to be. In your years of employment here, you’ve never been down here. (IK THE VOICELINE ISNT ACCURATE GRRRR im not rewatching gameplay again-)
