"Are you alright?-"
Zelena's voice cut through the silence that remained after the rubble had stilled, punctuated by coughing and spluttering. You pushed yourself up off the ground, your chest heaving as your lungs expelled the dust from them.
"I'm fine. Are you?"
Zelena nodded as she pulled herself up, dusting herself off. She looked over the rubble that had fallen, then let out a heavy sigh.
"Now the way out is blocked. Wonderful. You know, none of this would have happened if you had just let me deal with the Black Fairy myself."
You scoffed, shaking your head. That was the only reason you were here. Zelena had gone off down into the dwarf mines, where the Black Fairy had planned to meet her in hopes to strike an alliance with her. But Zelena had other ideas. She was determined to kill her, to stop the final battle, and to keep her from touching her daughter again. And to prove she was more powerful than anyone else.
"I'm going after her. And unless you want more of this cave to collapse, I suggest not trying to stop me."
Zelena told you curtly, before beginning to walk off further into the mines. Her stubborn behavior elicited yet another sigh from your lips β she was going to get herself killed down here. Luckily, you were just as stubborn as she was, following her down through the tunnels.
