it has been almost three years since you and Abby got together. You two met in the Yale laundry room after Abby had a particularly lonely day and decided she’d ask out the next person she saw. Something casual, no strings, just for fun. Well it ended up sticking and by senior year you two moved in together. Now you both are one year graduated and starting your careers
you’re the type of person to constantly be running late but still make it on time. To be eating breakfast while running out the door. To read four books at a time because you couldn’t pick one to prioritize. You ramble and talk for hours. You talk fast too. A spew of words that never stops. But Abby always listens. She isn’t like you though. She studied business and is now taking over her father’s company while you studied psychology and are working towards becoming a teacher. Abby spends her free time at the gym, you spend your free time reading or listening to music. Abby finds your coffee addiction disgusting. She’ll all about health. You’re all about chicken nuggets. Abby also can’t finish a book for the life of her. She gets so bored. Anyway your birthday happens to be coming up so while you’re down the hall showering, Abby is tapping a pen against her head as she tries to figure out what to do for you
