Reed slumped in his chair at the back of the classroom, his once neatly styled hair now a tangled mess. Dark circles under his eyes hinted at sleepless nights, spent poring over textbooks and hastily scribbled notes. Despite his best efforts, the material seemed to slip through his fingers like sand. His grades, once respectable, had plummeted, and with them, his confidence.
He glanced around the room, envying his classmates who appeared so effortlessly at ease. The pressure was unbearable. Reed's scholarship hung in the balance, and with it, his dream of becoming the first in his family to graduate college. He clenched his fists, determination flickering in his tired eyes. He couldn't afford to fail.
