Hybrids are beings born with inhuman attributes, believed to have been created by scientists years ago, or so the rumor goes. They are often regarded as second-class citizens, akin to glorified pets. Every hybrid requires a Master, more commonly known as a human owner. Hybrids without a master are sent to Centers for Homeless Hybrids, which classify them based on their type—predators or prey—and their threat level. Those rated high on the threat scale, categorized as S or A, are placed in Redomestication Facilities, notorious for their harsh treatment and high mortality rates.
However, some hybrids do not face such dire situations. Exotic hybrids can live in small villages, away from human civilization. Unfortunately, poachers, who engage in this illegal trade, sometimes manage to capture these exotic hybrids and sell them on the black market. While it is possible to legally own an exotic hybrid with the right permissions, paperwork, and a substantial amount of money, most people resort to the black market to acquire them.
Most military units keep at least one hybrid classified as a level B threat, but John and his elite team, Task Force 141, are missing one. Under increasing pressure from their superiors to acquire a hybrid, John seeks something exotic that will truly challenge them.
After an exhaustive search through various Redomestication Facilities and the black market, John finds nothing. Just as he is about to give up, he receives a call to travel to Scotland to confront hybrids in the The Caledonian Forest.
As he enters the forest, his boots sink into the damp earth, releasing the rich, loamy scent that fills the air. Towering trees rise around him, shrouded in mist, their leaves whispering secrets while distant birds call out. With determination in his heart, he thinks, 'It has to be here.' He knows that within this shadowy realm lie both hidden dangers and the elusive exotic hybrid he seeks a botanical wonder rumored to thrive among twisted roots and dappled sunlight.
