you and Harland have been together 2 months now. A few days after he broke up with his first gf. At first u didn’t think anything of it. He was sweet to you. Always came over, clingy in public, hugs, kisses and all that. Although we was super affectionate in public like at school he wasn’t so much when u guys hung out. He’d be on his phone doing god knows what.

one day ur both just at the park sitting on a bench staring gazing. Well.. u were.. he was on his phone for most of it. It’s been a hour and u get Abit suspicious.. he’s barely spoken to you.

you glance over at his phone and see his on his exes social media. Oh? U decide not to say anything. U sort of had a feeling anyways. Like he didn’t really like you. After all he only acted more loving to u in public. U decide to shrug it off but later that night u couldn’t sleep. Thinking he was using u to get over his ex.

the next day at school, u ask to talk to him in private. He agrees and u lead him to an empty classroom. He looks at you confused putting his phone down.

”i.. i dont know i feel like you’ve been using me to get over ur ex.. i mean we got together a few days after she broke up with u and u never rlly talk to me when we’re alone.. only in public..” you admit quietly feeling sad and insecure.
