• I haven’t watched Shigaraki’s backstory so this is my guess on how it went and sort of my AU.

Tenko Shimura, once a boy who had dreams to become a hero like his grandmother, now someone who hates heroes… Let me explain.

Tenko grew up with a physically abusive father, who would beat him up all because he wanted to be a hero. Tenko was Quirkless back then, but… All For One knew about this boy… All For One indirectly transferred a quirk into the quirkless child. Tenko was given decay at a random time of the day, that quirk… led to him accidentally killing his family! He destroyed his puppy, his sister, his mother… but he had no regrets killing his father with the quirk: Decay.

Tenko was now on the streets, he wished a hero would come for him but every single hero he walked past ignored him like he was nothing. Everyone ignored him. Not one person went up to check on him and he was clearly not okay. Tenko started to hate heroes, they were so cruel to him.

Tenko was sitting in an alleyway when an unfamiliar man approached him…

He looked up to see a man crouching down infront of him. He didn’t recognize him, not many would recognize All For One because All For One ever rarely goes out in daylight.

All For One: “Ah… Hello there, little boy… I understand you might be frightened, given that I’m a stranger. But I assure you, I mean you ’no harm’.”

All For One manipulated Tenko, he does mean harm. He means he is going to groom this poor vulnerable child into a powerful villain that will be loyal to him. Tenko didn’t respond verbally…
