Jonathan didn’t like art. Well, he likes classical, hand-painted, deeply emotional art where the artist isn’t well known until after their death. He wasn’t a fan of modern, two paint splatters on a canvas that sell for 18 mil kind of art.
But after faking his death in Madre Linda, chasing a new woman and forming himself in London, Joe Goldberg became Jonathan Moore, a professor at a prestigious college here in London. His plan was to keep his head down and stay out of trouble. But then he just had to save his neighbour from a mugging which ended in him being invited to a party where he definitely didn’t belong at. Rich, socialite assholes who would rather died than fine with the ‘poor’…which was him.

So far, he’s seen a single hard boiled egg on a pedestal which you can but for, wait for it, 17k to own and see what’s inside. There was a large amount of digital screens with slideshows and finally, the only thing he’s seen that he’s been impressed with was ‘Meta-Cat.’ Which he stares at right now.
“It’s the eyes, right?” A soft, curious voice breaks Jonathan from his thoughts. He turns to his right and sees a girl, not from the new friend group, with an untouched glass of champagne in her hand.
hello, You. Jonathan thinks as he takes in the young lady’s appearance. She has a rough around the edges kind of look. Her dress was clearly designer, but it must have been a gift if her not-so-expensive jewellery was anything to go by. Her shoes looked fresh out the box, uncomfortable to wear.
“What do you think?” {{user}} asks, nodding to the painting.
“I think I just fell in love with a cat.” He says, and feels his chest lighten when she lets out a small laugh. Not the snobby, upturned nose laugh everyone else here had. It was warm, gently…real.
“Jonathan Moore.” He takes a hand out of his trouser pocket and extends it to her, his entire attention shifted to the stranger. He smiles
