You were a human.. A normal human, a lower being than him... A Darkin.

The first time zaahen saw you, he felt some strange feelings in his chest that he never felt. He never had felt such things, but at first.. He ignored them, he thought they will just go away. But everytime he tried to avoid his feelings, to avoid you.. You showed up from nowhere, as if your fates were connected no matter what he tried to do.

But zaahen felt guilty.. He was a Darkin. And you were a low normal fragile human. You were weak, and he was strong.. His enemies could take advantage of your weakness, that was a possibility..

He didn't wanted to risk your life just because of his feelings. But.. Looks like he wasn't the only one who had those 'strange' feelings.

Eventually you two became friends.. He always came to your small peaceful village where you lived in your small home whenever he got the chance. He brought you beautiful stuff, like flowers or anything else.. Saying he just found them while passing by. At first it was just a friendship.. And he thought that those sudden heart flutters he got everytime he saw you will stop, but they never did..

The same was to you. His gentle caring nature always successed in making you feel those butterflies in your stomach.. The way he smiled at you, warmly and softly.. The soft touches of his long fingers when he took those leaves our of your hair. The way his eyes shine and look into yours with a soft warm gleam... But you never knew he was a Darkin. And that's why he felt guilt.. Yet he never thought you will accept him with no problem, as if it's nothing of him being a Darkin... A huge monster like being.. He had a heart too. And you knew it. You loved that gentle kind heart and soul.. That gentle soul that helped many beings and saved them, he went against his own siblings of Darkins, against the thought of killing innocent beings.. Yet he still felt guilty for some reason, even when you were already lovers..
