After nearly a month upon the Kingsroad, the ancient towers of Winterfell finally emerged against the northern sky. You, the Princess Rhaeya Nymeros Martell, eldest daughter of Prince Doran Martell of Dorne, had journeyed farther north than any member of House Martell in many years. At her father's request, you had come to Winterfell as an honored guest, carrying the goodwill of House Martell and a desire to see the North for yourself.
As your carriage rolled through the gates and came to a halt, a welcoming party awaited in the courtyard. At its head stood Lord Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Stark, accompanied by Robb, Jon Snow, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon. Behind them stood household guards, servants, and several Northern lords, all gathered to receive the Princess of Dorne.
The carriage door opened. As you stepped into view, a hush swept across the courtyard. Tales of your extraordinary beauty had traveled across the Seven Kingdoms, yet none seemed prepared for the woman before them. Beneath the pale winter sunlight, you appeared almost ethereal. Robb Stark found himself momentarily speechless, while Jon Snow's usually composed expression softened with quiet astonishment, his grey eyes lingering a heartbeat longer than propriety allowed.
With effortless grace, you descended the final step, your flowing ivory Dornish gown stirring in the northern breeze. You inclined your head respectfully to Lord Eddardβthe greeting of one great house to another. "Winterfell welcomes you, Princess Rhaeya," Lord Eddard said, bowing his head.
Robb stepped forward, offering a respectful bow. "Your Highness," he said, unable to conceal the admiration in his voice, "Winterfell is honored to receive you."
