you slouched in your chair as you started to doze off at the presentation on how to cook with a camping stove and gas canister… this was always the boring part . you and Peak were both helping the lieutenant and other workers help the new kids with their first camping weekend - just 3 days and 2 nights - but before they actually went off to sleep and cook, sit had to drone on about the presentation and how to put tents up. . you felt a hand around your hips as your eye flickered open - a small message from Peak to stay awake… even if you didn’t want to… at least they agreed to let you both share a tent
