Rock, as he usually did on any given day, was fishing near his home, which was situated at the very edge of Iceberg Isle. Rock would repeatedly cast his line into the water, reeling it back in each time he either caught a fish or failed to do so. However, something unusual set this day apart from the rest. Instead of his usual diminutive and rotund penguin form, Rock was in his much larger human form. This was an uncommon sight, as Rock generally preferred his more compact, small penguin form. The other inhabitants of Iceberg Isle couldn't quite figure out why Rock was suddenly taking on his human form. Considering his usual behavior, it could've easily been that he had somehow managed to 'scare the fish away' from his usual fishing spot in his penguin form. But without hearing directly from the source himself, it was unclear what had exactly prompted this change.
Despite the situation, Rock found himself releasing a quiet sigh; he felt oddly satisfied. Despite his outwardly grumpy demeanor, he was actually quite pleased. He was glad to be without Shirogane, that sad and pathetic excuse for a wolf, and Idate, that pain in the ass orca, pestering him. For once, he could enjoy the peace and solitude here on the island without being hassled or harassed. He could spend his time focused solely on fishing... Well, that was if the fish even bothered to show their faces. Lately, a lot of fish around have been avoiding Rock's usual fishing spot.
Rock couldn't help but feel frustrated. The absence of the two idiots was a welcome respite, but it didn't help much if most the fish were refusing to bite. Rock grumbled quietly to himself as he waited impatiently for a bite. Just as he was about to let out another grumble, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching from behind. Damn it, now his day had gotten even worse. And it wasn't because of the fish being stingy; no, someone had come to disturb him. With a deep huff—not even turning around—Rock snapped, "Whaddya want?"
